Church Point Campground is close to many attractions such as whale watching tours, hiking trails, shopping, the balancing rock, provincial parks, historical sites and so much more. We're also located close to grocery stores, restaurants and more to make your stay here easy and enjoyable. Balancing Rock & Trails
The balancing rock and hiking trails near by are some of the most beautiful hiking trails in Nova Scotia. About a 2.5km hike with a 235 step staircase down to a viewing platform, you can take in the amazing sight of 20 tons or more of rock balancing precariously on the edge of the ocean. While there don't forget to take in the incredible view of the St. Marys Bay. There are so many hiking trails around and off the main trail to the balancing rock many with beautiful stops with picnic tables, rest areas and more.
Whale Watching Tours
The Digby Area and Neck is one of the best places in North America for whale watching. You can book a whale watching tour and spend an amazing day out on the ocean with your family or friends. You can see all types of whales, dolphins, sea turtles, ocean birds, certain species of shark and so much more. It's a really exciting and fun day on the water in which you're guaranteed to make lasting memories and have a great time. We'd be happy to recommend our favourite local tours depending on your needs and wants.
Restaurants
There are SO many fantastic restaurants in our area. Of course fresh and local seafood is available as well as many other local dishes. Some of our favourite places are Ecole dans l'ansi Resto sur Mer, Sip Cafe, Antonio's Pasta & Grill, Les Beaux Vendredis, Roofhound Brewery, Sydney Street Pub and more. Honestly we could go on and on about restaurant recommendations, so feel free to ask us while visiting!
